Drawing is one of my favorite hobbies. Ever since I was young I’ve always enjoyed drawing people, specifically their faces. Something captivates me about the human face and I enjoy trying to convey that in my drawings. During my time at BYU-Idaho I had the pleasure of taking a head drawing class. While it was a required class, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. It was a fantastic experience to be able to learn how to draw faces and work with charcoal. I’ve found that learning this style and medium has helped my design work. I was able to learn to pay better attention to details and alignment. To this day, I still try to practice my headdrawing. It’s a great way for me to destress.
